It was quite challenging to find the right BABS for us, as it was a multilingual wedding we were searching for someone confident in English, who could confidently bring our ceremony and story to life - this was Eveline. The story of Eveline and her own partner meeting is mentioned on her website - a recommended read to get to know Eveline's style of story telling (it gave us a giggle!).
We had a couple of meetings prior - Eveline patiently answered all our questions and concerns, and meanwhile got to work to ask us in return lots of questions to get to know who we were as a couple. We had 3 questionnaires to complete - 1 each and 1 together. It's quite fun to answer the questions and anticipate what our partner may have included - details we would only find out during the ceremony..
Aside from writing the script for the ceremony, Eveline also helped to coordinate with the local gemeente - we were grateful for this as her experience helped to slightly smooth the process (which otherwise was overly complicated for us being the first time).
On the day Eveline arrived before the ceremony and aligned with all stakeholders. The ceremony written and shared by Eveline was an incredible journey through our relationship, with attention to detail to paint a picture of the moments mentioned. Eveline aligned with one of our friends, who gave a short speech in the middle. Eveline perfectly captured us; how we see each other and us as a couple. She had compiled details we wrote, we had said during our meetings, and a few from friends and a family. Our guests described the ceremony as magical and a fairytale - a high praise and compliment to Eveline's creation.
We would absolutely recommend Eveline for a special and treasured wedding ceremony!
