We had the pleasure of having Kaoutar as our florist for our intimate wedding in the heart of Amsterdam. Going into wedding planning, my (now) husband and I had little idea of how to approach the florals. We didn’t know what would be possible, what would look good in our venues, or how it would all come together. Luckily, we realised from our first meeting with Kaoutar that we were in good hands. She took her time, listened to our thoughts, and guided us through the whole process. She just had to see a few pictures of our venue and restaurant before she was able to come up with multiple different visions and plans. We had enough time to consider everything and ask any and every question we had. It was always a delight to be in touch with Kaoutar. Her communication is excellent - timely and clear, while also radiating warmth and humour.
We had also met at the venue together to discuss the practicalities and details. Kaoutar had an idea and solution for everything. She is very organised and accurate, which, in the chaos of wedding planning, made my husband and me feel like we had another huge weight lifted off our shoulders. The way Kaoutar works lets you be involved in all the fun things, whatever that may be for you (picking colours or looking at different bouquets together, etc.), while she handles the practical, behind-the-scenes parts.
On the wedding day itself, we were floored with how she brought to life what we had discussed. Of course we knew it was going to look great, but how Kaoutar was able to execute the vision amazed us. Our main venue was a 400+ year old ‘herenhuis’ on the canals of Amsterdam, so it had a lot of peculiar design elements and vibrant colours already. Somehow, however, Kaoutar managed to make an already beautiful and unique space even more magnificent, even regal. My bridal bouquet perfectly (and I really mean perfectly) matched and complemented my dress, my skin tone, and even my jewellery. She had then rearranged the florals from our lunch/ceremony venue to the restaurant where we had our dinner. Kaoutar has such skill and talent for seeing how to maximise beauty in everything she does; yet again, she took an already beautiful space and turned it into something majestic. At the end of the evening, she had also arranged for the florals to be tidied up: whatever was not taken home by our guests would be donated to a retirement home. That was another nice point, knowing that others could also enjoy such beauty.
We consider ourselves lucky to have found Kaoutar and cannot recommend her highly enough!
