De mooiste trouwlocatie die we ons hadden kunnen wensen! Hoeve Vernelsberg heeft ons hart veroverd. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelde alles perfect: de rust, de prachtige ligging tussen de heuvels en de authentieke charme van het vakwerkgebouw. Het is zo’n plek waar U bi...nnenstapt en meteen weet: hier wil ik zijn. Voor onze bruiloft was het werkelijk de ideale locatie. Alles klopte. De sfeer van de hoeve, het adembenemende uitzicht en de warme gastvrijheid maakten onze dag onvergetelijk. Het voelde intiem en tegelijkertijd groots — precies wat we hoopten. De ruimtes zijn sfeervol, stijlvol en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Onze gasten waren onder de indruk van de unieke setting en spraken de hele dag door vol lof over de plek. En wij? Wij straalden van begin tot eind. Hoeve Vernelsberg is zonder twijfel de mooiste trouwlocatie die we ons hadden kunnen wensen. Een plek waar liefde, natuur en gastvrijheid samenkomen. The venue is beautiful and the onsite staff were genuinely fantastic: warm, attentive, and a pleasure to work with. They are not the issue. The challenge lies with the organisation behind them. We had a documented agreement with a specific decoration reference photo from their o...wn team. The delivered setup bore almost no resemblance to it: bare tables, missing elements, and last-minute plastic lemons that were never part of the agreed design. When we raised this with the owner afterward, the response dismissed both the photos and the written evidence, and no apology was offered. The champagne toast was mishandled as well. It was served without the bride and groom present (despite explicit written instructions) and the champagne was warm on a hot August day. We were later charged for 21 extra glasses we never requested from the deposit. Reading other reviews on Google, we now see this isn’t an isolated experience: several couples mention things being different once the deposit is paid. That pattern aligns with what we encountered—great people, but inconsistent planning, reactive decisions, and no accountability afterward. The staff deserve praise. But as an organisation, there is structural work to do before I could recommend this venue for a wedding of this scale and cost. Lees meer Verberg
