However, the experience took a disappointing turn the day before the wedding- when the items arrived. The quality of the rented items did not meet our expectations. The tables were damaged, with visible holes and some parts held together with tape. The flooring was dirty, stained, and had black tape in several areas. The tablecloths were particularly disappointing especially given the nature of the event - they were stained and thin, and arrived wrinkled and stuffed into plastic bags. They were so thin that did not adequately cover the damaged tables , and I had to purchase new tablecloths last-minute for the bride and groom’s table.
What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. I raised concerns twice—once in person with the staff who collected the items, and again via email. The only response I received was a generic message (“Thank you for your interest, here is the invoice”). along with the invoice, which felt dismissive and unprofessional.
While the team responsible for delivery and setup was punctual and did a good job, the overall experience was marked by a significant mismatch between the price we paid and the quality we received.
