I’m Danique Engelberts, wedding planner and founder of DEWE Weddings & Events, based in Rotterdam. I plan weddings throughout the Netherlands and abroad, with a special passion for multicultural weddings. Having worked in India, Italy, the UK and Malaysia, I bring a wide knowledge of cultural traditions and celebrations. Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than talking about your wedding wishes and your cultures, hearing your love story, and bringing your ideas to life.

Two cultures, one celebration

Every wedding planned by DEWE is a blend of the two cultures coming together. With experience in Indian, Chinese, Malaysian, Venezuelan and Western weddings, I understand the challenges: finding a mandap in the Netherlands, a venue that can host 250 guests for your Chinese fusion dinner, or knowing the added value of la hora loca at your party.

How I help you

As your multicultural wedding planner, I help you choose the elements and traditions for your day, translate your cultures for your guests, and shape your wedding into a celebration that represents you both. With my eye for detail and love for organising, the planning process stays relaxed and fun for you. And your wedding? One of a kind, and unforgettable for everyone. I never copy and paste: every approach is personal.
