Ik ben Laura van Rooij. Sinds 2010 ontwerp en maak ik trouwjurken op maat. Elegant, tijdloos en volledig afgestemd op de bruid die ze draagt. In mijn atelier in het centrum van Eindhoven komen vakmanschap, stijlgevoel en liefde voor het ambacht samen.

Als couturier en specialist in bruidsmode werk ik uitsluitend met de mooiste kant, zijde en tule van de hoogste kwaliteit. Elk jaar reis ik naar Parijs om stoffen te selecteren bij de meest exclusieve stoffenhuizen van Europa.

Van schets tot trouwjurk

Tijdens onze eerste afspraak nemen we ruim de tijd om jouw stijl, wensen en de sfeer van jullie trouwdag te bespreken. In het atelier hangen diverse couturejurken die je kunt passen voor inspiratie en pasvorm. Op basis daarvan maak ik een persoonlijk ontwerp, gevolgd door een proefjurk in een eenvoudige stof. Hierin kun je de vorm, lengte en belijning ervaren en samen verfijnen we alles tot het helemaal klopt.

Pas als het proefmodel goed aanvoelt, knip ik de definitieve stof. Jouw trouwjurk wordt daarna volledig met de hand gemaakt, stap voor stap, met aandacht, rust en liefde voor detail.

Niet alleen de trouwjurk is bijzonder, het proces ook

Bruiden vinden het fantastisch om een unieke jurk te dragen, maar noemen het proces ernaartoe minstens zo bijzonder. De persoonlijke aandacht, de ontspannen passessies en het moment waarop hun jurk langzaam tot leven komt maken de ervaring compleet.

Exclusive custom-made wedding dresses, designed in my atelier in the heart of Eindhoven using fabrics from Paris

I’m Laura van Rooij. Since 2010, I’ve been designing and creating custom-made wedding dresses that are elegant, timeless, and entirely tailored to the bride who wears them. In my atelier in the centre of Eindhoven, craftsmanship, refined taste and a love for the art of couture come together.

As a couturier and bridalwear specialist, I work exclusively with the finest lace, silk and tulle of the highest quality. Each year, I travel to Paris to personally select fabrics from Europe’s most exclusive fabric houses.

From sketch to gown

During our first appointment, we take plenty of time to explore your personal style, your wishes and the atmosphere of your wedding day. In my atelier, you can try on various couture gowns for inspiration and to discover what fits and feels right. Based on that, I create a custom design and make a trial version of your dress in a simple fabric. This allows you to experience the shape, length and lines and together we refine every detail until it’s just right.

Once the trial version feels perfect, I cut the final fabric. Your wedding dress is then crafted entirely by hand, step by step, with care, calm and an eye for detail.
