Elle: ''I used the venue, and its surroundings as the inspiration for the shoot, sticking to a timeless colour pallet of black, white and gold, bringing in very small hints of the soft dusky pinks of the coastal sunset, and the aqua of the Cornish sea. ''. Een vleugje Hollywood Glamour uit de jaren 20's & 30's in combinatie met strakke lijnen zorgen volgens het dreamteam voor ''a modern seaside affair with a relaxed yet luxurious feel!''.

Monochroom is niet saai, nee nee! Zwart op wit of wit op zwart: het werkte voor deze elegante look. Elle: ''I designed two tablescapes to illustrate how our Monochrome pallet could work in two ways. Layering a black silk runner matte black flat wear and black marble chargers to contrast against crisp white linen for one scene. Then inside the beautifully designed hotel restaurant set off against voile curtains billowing in the sea breeze I used elegant black furniture, and a contrasting white silk runner, white marble charger plates, and gold detailing!''.
